Hours & Admission
The Sheldon Museum of Art is open to the public on the following days:
- Tuesday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- and Sunday from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Sheldon is closed on Mondays, Easter, Memorial and Independence Days and Thanksgiving.
The Museum will be closed December 21, 2009, through January 4, 2010, during the initial phase of a construction project to improve the safety of the staircase railings in the Great Hall. The project is expected to be completed by mid-to-late January. There will be no First Friday reception in January and a few other events may be adapted to accommodate conditions in the Great Hall in January. For more information please click: Museum Closed
